Carpe Vino Dining MenusCarpe Vino offers full dinners. Our new menu has two sides: The “Wine Bar Menu” on the left features nibbles, appetizers and small plates that can be combined to make a full meal or simply shared. You can order off of this side throughout the building—in the Wine Bar and in the dining room. On the right side we offer the “Chef’s Menu,” a compact selection of full entrées sure to please most everyone. Select from soup and salad starters and then choose a full dinner entrée featuring the finest meat and fish dishes in the region. Our menu is based on seasonally fresh ingredients and changes frequently based on what is available in the market. All Chef’s Menu selections may also be ordered in the Wine Bar. Local Farmers and ProducersSince the day we opened the restaurant, Carpe Vino has aggressively sought to source produce and meats for our menu from local farmers. From sustainably grown fruits & vegetables to grass-fed and hormone free lamb, we do our best to purchase PlacerGrown whenever we can. In 2009, we were a sponsor of “Placer County Real Food,” a cookbook written by Joanne Neft and Laura Kenny which showcased 52 menus produced exclusively from foods purchased at the Auburn Farmer’s Market. And that’s where you will find our chef, Eric Alexander, walking the aisles every Saturday morning. Here is a list of many of the Placer area producers with who we deal, along with the products they produce.
