Bar Story in the Bee Features Carpe Vino
In Wednesday’s
“Taste” section of the Sacramento Bee, Food Editor
Mike Dunne wrote the cover story about a revival of wine bars
in the Sacramento region titled, “Pouring into Town.”
Seven wine bars were featured, and Carpe Vino was the only
wine bar included outside of the Sacramento city limits.
As it turns out, we’re one of the oldest facilities
in the area, behind only Enotria which was launched in 1995.
None of the new wine bars in Roseville or Rocklin came up
on the radar.

winery where tourists who expected to pop in for a quick taste
ended up spending half the day.”
