HogWash Rose of Grenache 2016 (California)
Winery Tasting Notes: “This wine is purely and simply summertime in a glass. The Hogwash Rose displays a pale salmon-pink color and a beautiful and lively nose that showcases aromas of watermelon candy, red cherries, red current and rose water. Medium bodied, it has incredible vibrancy that combines with its great finish to create a wine that is both a very serious rose wine but has something for everyone.”
$34.95/bottle or $24.95/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes: “The 2014 vintage Melée Grenache showcases how great Grenache can come from California. Sourced from two unique steep hillside vineyards, one in the central coast and one in Mendocino, this wine offers a kaleidoscope of aromas emerging from the glass. Hints of baked summer fruits, white pepper, lavender, underbrush and dry aged meats lead to an incredibly focused, yet elegant, balanced and graceful mid-palate. The finish is a blockbuster that exudes both power and finesse. This is truly a wine for the ages.”
$24.95/bottle or $22.50/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petite Syrah, 10% Syrah “The 2014 vintage of The Sum boasts an inky deep purple color accompanied by a lovely nose of blueberries, espresso and dark chocolate. Full bodied and multilayered, this wine exhibits what can be achieved through meticulous winemaking and blending. A fantastic wine that will quite easily age for 15 to 20 years but that is also shows wonderfully right away.”
$67.50/bottle – SPECIAL DISCOUNT AT TASTING Winery Tasting Notes: “The first vintage of Mad Hatter was made from the 2003 harvest, with the commitment of making an elegant and well-balanced Bordeaux blend from vineyards throughout Napa Valley. The 2015 vintage aptly continues that commitment. Under the winemaking direction of Tuck Beckstoffer and Shawn Johnson, we have selected vineyards on Pritchard Hill, St. Helena and Pope Valley along with a small amount of Mendocino fruit. By blending Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot and Cabernet Franc, we have created a wine with complex aromas, great balance and a long smooth finish.”
