Fun Facts: Cerro is the brand new project from J Derek Beitler, a young and talented winemaker (Bodega Rancho, Carne Humana, Skyhook), who has learned a lot about making wine from his uncle, the founder of Caymus Vineyards, cousin Joey Wagner of Belle Glos and his brother, Kurt Beitler, of Boheme. The 2013 Petit Verdot spent 36 months in new french oak barrels,  33% new.
