All-New Shiner Cab & Scott Pruett Wines Open This Saturday

Don’t miss this Saturday’s Wine Club Member Tasting because it’s going to be a doozy! We’re rolling out the “red carpet” by introducing the all-new 2014 Shiner “Version 17.2” Cabernet Sauvignon side-by-side with the coveted “new releases” from Scott Pruett Wines. Plus, we’ll have the “crown jewel” of his collection, the 2015 Championship Cuvee which are all numbered and etched. We received one of the only allocations of Pruett Wines outside of his mailing list and we’re planning on selling it all this Saturday from 1-4pm, because with supplies as miniscule as they are, these precious gems won’t last long! Once they are gone…they’re gone! SO…Wine Club Members…come down and taste 3 of the 4 (sorry…the Champ Cuvee is too limited to pour) Pruett Wines, the ALL-NEW Shiner “Release 17.2” Cab Sauv, and stock up your cellar for the Holidays! If you have any questions, please email or call me at your earliest convenience (please remember two person maximum per wine club membership, no guests).

Shiner “Release 17.2″ Cabernet Sauvingon 2014 (California)
$27.95/bottle or $19.95/bottle on 6+

Jay’s Take:

“Concentrated flavors fill up this full-bodied and well-balanced wine. Pleasurable aromas of black currant, sweet tobacco, and clove give this wine exquisite character. Ripe fruit flavors of blackberry and baked blueberry accentuated with baking spice round out nicely on the palate. Its velvety texture provides a long, lingering finish that would pair well with red wine braised short ribs or charred gruyere cheeseburger.”

Pruett “Lucky Lauren Red” Red Wine 2015 (Sierra Foothills, CA)

$29/bottle

Winery Tasting Notes:

“Meet the mediator, as this is your go-to wine when you want to please everyone. A plush and generous blend that shows excellent structure and focus. Brooding dark raspberry and smoky mocha aromas combine with layered flavors of boysenberry, nutmeg and allspice. The tannins are plush with a long lingering finish. Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon blend.”

Pruett “CSP Estate” Syrah 2015 (Sierra Foothills, CA)

$38/bottle

Winery Tasting Notes:

“Consistency is key with this wine, certain to please every time. Sumptuous, plush and impeccably structured, with blackberry and wild raspberry aromas and accents of smoky pepper. Enjoy the beautiful balance from the first alluring aroma to the burst of flavor, full body, and lingering smooth finish.”

2015 Pruett “Championship Cuvee” Syrah – Numbered & Etched (Not Available For Tasting)

Winery Tasting Notes:

“The expression “go big or go home” applies. This wine is for the true Champions and Oenophiles, fragrant, opulent, enticing, and powerful, from the green to the checkered flag. Wild boysenberry, currant, espresso and a hint of lavender open to even more complex flavors of wild blackberry, allspice and licorice. The tannins combine depth with finesse for the powerful long finish.”

Celebrating Scott Pruett’s 50 years in racing
