BLACK COD & DUMPLING WEEKEND SPECIAL

“weekend special” starts tomorrow @5pm!

This weekend Chefs Tim Dube and Olivia Poulos will be preparing a “must-order” entree special for the Carpe Vino restaurant & bar.

miso cured black codpork & “lobster mushroom” dumplings, corn cob dashi – 28

A picture to follow in tomorrow’s email (Instagram too), and you will see this dish is all about the broth.  The chefs will start with corn stock adding dried mushrooms, Bonito (dried fish flakes), Konbu (dried kelp), garlic and ginger.  This is the base for the Dashi, which will surround, but not fully submerge, the perfectly cooked Black Cod & dumplings.  We can’t wait to taste it!

Available in Carpe Vino’s Restaurant or Bar starting @5pm Friday & Saturday night

Too pretty not to share!  Chef Tim Dube prepared this “salmon pastrami mi-cuit” appetizer as a special for our weekend diners.  Hope to see it again soon!

vanilla panna cotta

Chef Olivia Poulos is at again with this ridiculous summertime dessert.  Absolutely delicious and perfect way to finish off the night!

For those of you craving a “CHOCOLATE” dessert – you won’t find this one on the menu.  JUST ASK and make sure to get SKREWBALL back…you won’t be disappointed.
