Carpe Vino Earns Third Wine Spectator Award

For the third year in a row, Carpe Vino has earned Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for its restaurant wine list. We were among 3,748 restaurants worldwide that were recognized by the magazine, widely revered as the bible of the wine industry.

To be considered for an award, entries must include a current menu and wine list. Since our wine list is presented electronically, we submitted a printout of the hundreds of wines in the store that comprise our list, plus our wines-by-the-class menu.

Carpe Vino was also recognized in 2012 and 2013. Other winners in our area include Ella’s, The Firehouse and The Grange in Sacramento; and Friar Tuck’s in Nevada City.
