Forge “The Allies” Riesling 2015 (Finger Lake, NY)

BottleRieslingClassique_nv.123922Wine Spectator Notes: 91 Points
“The 2015 Chablis St Martin has what you might describe as a “dainty” nose at first, a little timid, but it soon finds it voice courtesy of its apple blossom and fresh pear aromas, perhaps with a hint of peppermint in the background. The palate is well balanced with a crisp line of acidity. I appreciate the tension of this Chablis: taut and linear, quite saline in the mouth and this serves to prolong the finish. This is a well-crafted and very delicious Chablis from Gregory Viennois and his team. This comes recommended.”

image.124004Lemelson “Reserve” Chardonnay 2014 (Willamette Valley, OR)

$30/bottle or WC Member Discounts Apply

Wine Advocate Notes: 91 Points
“The 2014 Chardonnay Reserve is sourced from Chestnut Hill in Chehalem, plus Johnson Vineyard and Washer Vineyard (three different AVAs). Aged for 16 months in barrel (30% new oak), it has a clean and precise bouquet with white flower and baking powder infusing the light tropical fruit, hints of papaya and kumquat developing just behind. The palate is medium-bodied with an appealing waxy texture, peach and dried apricot notes on the entry with a pleasant leesy note on the finish. This is a subtle Chardonnay, very nuanced, one that I suspect will age with style. This is worth checking out and should provide delicious drinking over the next decade.”

2015-daou-reserve-cabernet-sauvignon-paso-r.124409Daou “Reserve” Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 (Paso Robles, CA)

$54.95/bottle or $39.95/bottle on 6+

“Wine Advocate” Tasting Notes: 91 Points

“This wine is a blend of around 80% Cabernet Sauvignon with Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc making up the other 20%. Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve offers ripe cassis, blackberry preserves, dried herbs, incense and dusty earth notions with a hint of smoked meat. The medium to full-bodied palate reveals a firm, fine-grained backbone with layered, relatively elegant fruit expression and a long and earthy finish.”

BNS_Zin_v15_BottleImage_HIGHres-152x362.124212Boneshaker Zinfandel 2015 (Lodi)

$23.95/bottle or $17.95/bottle on 6+

Winery Tasting Notes:
“Boneshaker is a big, knockout wine! Bold and intense with concentrated sweet berry aromas that lead to layered dark plum and black cherry flavors and a rich, full mouthfeel, all balanced with nice acidity and well-structured tannins. Subtle hints of spice and pepper grace the long, smooth and silky finish.”
