This Saturday October 14th, CV Wine Club Members get exclusive access to taste/stock up on some of the most recognized wines in all of California. From 1pm-4pm, you’ll have the opportunity to taste four “knockouts” at a value of well over $150! Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of stellar, SECRET pricing. boen-pinot.1145222015 BÖEN Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley)

Winery Tasting Notes:

COLOR: Deep, dark ruby-red

AROMATICS: Bright Bing cherry, dark chocolate, coconut, black licorice, a hint
of toast, smoked meat, blueberry, barrel spice.

PALATE: Cola, vanilla cream soda. Chocolate and black licorice carries through to the palate. Dried strawberry flavors with hints of cranberry and prune. Fresh, bright acidity. A dustiness or earthiness and very fine and persistent tannins.

Wine Spectator Notes: 90 Points
“Flavors of bright cherry, blueberry, dark chocolate, coconut and black licorice are complexed by hints of toast, smoked meat and barrel spice. A medium bodied wine with bright acidity and very fine, persistent tannins.”

Winery Tasting Notes:

“The color is a deep scarlet-red with lush aromas of blackberry bramble, nutmeg, and hint of caramel. The wine is fresh and exuberant in the mouth with sumptuous strawberry jam, ripe black cherry, cranberry and warm gingerbread. It is perfectly balanced with refreshing acidity, velvety tannins and a hint of toffee carrying through its long finish. When asked to describe this wine, I simply say it’s like a taste of Christmas, all year long!”

Palate: Rich and yet also elegant, this winehas beautiful red and black berry fruit flavors, with hints of cloves and pepper with a long finish.

Structure: Medium-bodied with fine-grained
tannins, gorgeous palate-weight,
and a persistent elegant finish.

Winery Tasting Notes:

COLOR: Deep, dark brick red to blood plum

AROMAS: A seamless blend of crème de cassis, hazelnut, cocoa, blackberry preserves, charry
meat, and blackberry pie along with suggestions of dark licorice, stewed rhubarb, strawberry,
spice and vanillin.

PALATE: Rich and satisfying with chocolate brownie, yogurt, molasses, brown sugar and
rhubarb notes presented in perfect balance with higher-toned fruit emphasis.
