Bouvet Brut Rose Excellence NV
$15.95/bottle or $13.95/bottle on 6+
Wine Tasting Notes:
“Bright salmon pink in color with fine bubbles and a pleasant mousse. The fresh raspberry, red currant and peach on the nose is given structure on the palate with black currant and quince, earthy notes and fine herbal piquancy.”
Food Pairing:
“Excellent with grilled fish, chicken, pork or, for dessert, fresh berries.”
2014 Raymond “Reserve” Chardonnay (Napa Valley)
$19.95/bottle or $13.95/bottle on 6+
Winemaker Notes:
“The grapes for the Napa Valley Chardonnay come from our estate vineyards in Jameson Canyon and select Napa Valley growers. The estate vineyards are planted on rolling hills at the southern end of Napa Valley. The growing conditions in the Jameson Canyon are very similar to Carneros, the neighboring appellation just west of the Napa River. Winds flow through Jameson Canyon, carrying in the cooling influence of the nearby Pacific Ocean and providing a long, cool growing season that enhances the intensity of the Chardonnay flavors.”
“Wine Enthusiast” Notes: 90 Points
“Rock candy and bright lemon flavors form the core of this young, tightly wound white, wrapped in toasty oak. A stony, gravelly texture gives it a touch of complexity”
Cherry Pie “Three Vineyards” Pinot Noir 2015 (California)
$19.95/bottle or $17.95/bottle on 6+
Winery Tasting Notes:
“The 2015 Cherry Pie Pinot Noir jumps from the glass with aromas of raspberry, nutmeg, sandalwood and light smokiness, lifted by a floral note. Silky and delicate up front, with ripe acidity framing the rich, sweet flavors of red berries, and finishing with red cherry and earth.”
Shiner “Release 17.2″ Cabernet Sauvingon 2014 (California)
$27.95/bottle or $19.95/bottle on 6+
Jay’sTake:
“Concentrated flavors fill up this full-bodied and well-balanced wine. Pleasurable aromas of black currant, sweet tobacco, and clove give this wine exquisite character. Ripe fruit flavors of blackberry and baked blueberry cobbler accentuated with baking spice round out nicely on the palate. Its velvety texture provides a long, lingering finish that would pair well with red wine braised short ribs or charred gruyere cheeseburger.”
Kith & Kin (by Round Pond) Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 (Napa Valley, CA)
$34.95/bottle – SPECIAL DISCOUNT AT TASTING
Winery Tasting Notes:
“Inviting and approachable, this wines bouquet prepares the palate with aromas of cherry jubilee, coco-dusted red berries, and subtle hints of spice. Red fruit driven, the supple entry teases with bright notes of fresh cherry and licorice immediately lead into darker, fleshier notes. This full-bodied Cabernet shows a beautiful balance of fruit, acid, spice, and tannin. Earthy notes of forest floor, dark chocolate, and sage linger for a full, yet remarkably soft finish.”
“Wine Spectator” Tasting Notes: 90 Points
“A striking example of a balanced wine, featuring ripe, juicy dark berry, spice, herb and dusty oak, with firm yet tender tannins that let the flavors glide happily along. Drink now through 2028.”
