Hey Man, Come in Out of the Rain!

Greetings from Carpe Vino! There is a storm a-brewin’ on Saturday, so come down to CV and get out of the rain.  We’re having our own storm of fantastic wines and fantastic discounts. So, don’t miss out on your chance to taste some of the best wines to stock up on for the weekend.  Our Tasting starts at 12noon and ends promptly at 4pm. (Please remember two person maximum per wine club membership.) Here is what we will be pouring:

Winery Tasting Notes: 60% Chardonnay & 40% Pinot Noir
“Fresh aromas of sweet red apple, pineapple and citrus blossom, are complemented by nuances of warm caramel and fresh sourdough. The palate is crisp and lively, with exotic flavors of guava and papaya, followed by Mandarin orange and Meyer lemon. The wine finishes with a tangy acidity that lingers in the mouth.”

Jay’s Take:  “Mirabelle is Schramsburg’s multi-vintage brut sparkling.  Mirabelle Brut works well as a dry apéritif and is great with a broad range of seafood and cheeses.”

It is broad and round, with flavors of black raspberries, plums and spice that lead you down a very familiar and favorite path. The RLT3 is our version of comfort food – easy drinking, straightforward and just plain fun!”

Jay’s Take:  “We just received our allocation of Behrens Family Wines.  All of their wines are seriously limited, and very small production.  Not too often you will see this one open!”
