“Wine Advocate” Tasting Notes: 90 Points
“A blend of 84% Zinfandel, 11% Petite Sirah and 5% Barbera, aged for 12 months in neutral barrels, the 2015 Zinfandel Roman sports a deep garnet-purple color and nose of black plums, blackberries and licorice with touches of tar, charcoal, salami and Indian spices. Full-bodied with firm, slightly rustic tannins, it offers great fruit expression in the mouth with freshness and purity coming through on the long finish.”

$25.95/bottle or $18.95/bottle on 6+

Winery Tasting Notes:
Zinfandel, Petite Sirah & Malbec

“A big, full-bodied style wine. The aromas are of dark red fruit, dried plum, sweet spice, mocha and vanilla. In the mouth it has generous flavors and bold structure. The taste finished with just enough structure to enjoy with grilled steak, barbequed meats, pizza or hard cheeses.”

kokomo_14cuvee_small.095406Kokomo Cuvee Red Wine 2015 (Sonoma County, CA)

$27.95/bottle or $19.95/bottle on 6+

Winery Tasting Notes: 35% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec, 16% Grenache, 5% Petite Sirah

“This blend is primarily made up of fruit that is grown by our 4th generation grower and partner, Randy Peters. It is framed by a sturdy structure of Bordeaux varietals and accented with a touch of the Rhone to bring out depth, spice and individuality. The main goal for this blend was to make a beautiful food wine that is complex, balanced, and easy to drink.”

$34.95/bottle – SPECIAL DISCOUNT AT TASTING

Winery Tasting Notes:
“Inviting and approachable, this wines bouquet prepares the palate with aromas of cherry jubilee, coco-dusted red berries, and subtle hints of spice. Red fruit driven, the supple entry teases with bright notes of fresh cherry and licorice immediately lead into darker, fleshier notes. This full-bodied Cabernet shows a beautiful balance of fruit, acid, spice, and tannin. Earthy notes of forest floor, dark chocolate, and sage linger for a full, yet remarkably soft finish.”
“Wine Spectator” Tasting Notes: 90 Points
“A striking example of a balanced wine, featuring ripe, juicy dark berry, spice, herb and dusty oak, with firm yet tender tannins that let the flavors glide happily along. Drink now through 2028.”

shinerimgShiner “Release 17.2″ Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 (California)

27.95/bottle or $19.95/bottle on 6+

Carpe Vino Tasting Notes:
“Concentrated flavors fill up this full-bodied and well-balanced wine. Pleasurable aromas of black currant, sweet tobacco, and clove give this wine exquisite character. Ripe fruit flavors of blackberry and baked blueberry cobbler accentuated with baking spice round out nicely on the palate. Its velvety texture provides a long, lingering finish that would pair well with red wine braised short ribs or charred gruyere cheeseburger.”
