2015 Whitehall Lane Sauvignon Blanc (Napa Valley) $22/winery

Winery Tasting Notes: “The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing wine with citrusy lemon, tart apple and sweet melon flavors and aromas. It is a nicely balanced wine with good weight and a clean finish. 70% of the fruit was fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and 30% in new French oak barrels. The barrel-fermented portion was aged for only six weeks. Utilizing both tank and barrels for fermenting accentuates the crisp fruit flavors and increases complexity. 9% Semillon was blended in for enhanced sweet, round flavors and mouth-feel.”

WHMERLOT.1225382014 Whitehall Lane Merlot (Napa Valley) $32/Winery

Winery Tasting Notes:
“The plush red raspberry and cherry flavors and aromas leap from the glass. This merlot has an amazing core of ripe, jammy berry and currant fruit that is beautifully framed by toasty oak. It is supple in texture and shows attractive depth on the finish. Enjoy right now and through 2020 with proper cellaring.”

2014 Tre Leoni (by Whitehall Lane) Red Wine (Napa Valley) $25/WineryTre.122841

Winery Tasting Notes:
“This ferociously fun blend has depth, balance and big flavors. Up front, the aromas are dense blackberries, licorice, blueberry crumble and a touch of croissant. It bursts with expansive flavors of blueberries, blackberries, and mixed berry jam. This wine has great texture that ultimately finishes with round, silky smooth tannins. Enjoy Tre Leoni with your next barbeque and when gathering with family or friends.”

lEONARD.1232572013 Whitehall Lane “Leonardini Estate” Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) $85/Winery

Winery Tasting Notes: 94 % cabernet sauvignon / 6% petite verdot “This is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine has a deep, intense color and a distinct fruit center that begins with black cherry, violet and currant aromas. It is well balanced, elegant and sleek on the palate, delivering very long berry and cherry flavors through to the finish. The underlying tannin structure, complexity and ample fruit guarantees rewards to the patient collector over the next 12 or so years (about 2028.)”
