2016 Lewis Cellars “Sonoma” Chardonnay

Winery Tasting Notes:
“Our 2016 Sonoma Chardonnay steals the show this year with flashy ripe citrus, pineapple and vanilla orange blossom. Wonderfully broad and rich on entry the wine has great structure and detail, soaring with hi-tone tropical fruit and spices before trailing away with floral and mineral notes. 1,600 cases produced”

 

 

 

 

 

2016 Lewis Cellars “Napa Valley” Chardonnay

Winery Tasting Notes:
“Golden delicious apple, honeysuckle blossom and toasty caramel spice aromas are served up generously in our 2016 Napa Chardonnay. Silky in texture with ripe tree fruit and plenty of drive the wine is athletic and complex with a tail of smoky mineral and lees character. 1,700 cases produced”

 

 

 

 

 

2015 Lewis Cellars Merlot (Napa Valley)

Wine Advocate Notes: 92 Points

“The 2015 is our most massively proportioned Merlot in years; a forest of clove, oak and vanilla spices densely fruited with mountain huckleberry, black plum and a dusting of cocoa powder. Tightly constructed like the rings of a giant sequoia the wine gradually reveals a core of sappy fruit rooted with hefty, polished tannins. 75 cases produced”

 

 

 

 

 

2015 Lewis Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

Winery Tasting Notes:
“Like an Aston Martin V-12 our 2015 Napa Valley Cabernet is a silky powerhouse of fruit at wide-open-throttle. Black currant, plum and juicy ripe berries rev freely on the palate with seductive oak spice, candle wax and semi-sweet chocolate aromas. Fine-tuned and polished, the wine is deceptively powerful with supple, sweeping tannins. 1,700 cases produced”
