For those gentlemen among you who dilly-dallied rather than make reservations for dinner with your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day, you’re probably sweating .45 caliber bullets right about now. You messed up and you know it.
All is not lost. . .we have limited availability after 8 p.m. on February 14. If that doesn’t work, you can redeem yourself by joining us on Saturday night, February 13 instead for Chef Alexander’s five-course, prix-fixed extravaganza, the exact same program for our two-evening V-Day celebration.
This year, Chef Alexander has created a very special, Lover’s Delight menu featuring Ahi tuna, Dayboat scallops, Jasmine smoked duck breast, 48-hour Angus beef short rib “Red Velvet” profiteroles (prepared by Chef Courtney McDonald). For the full menu and all preparations, click here. The cost is $95++ per person and you must call the restaurant to make reservations (no OpenTable access).
A couple of important points: this is a fixed menu; one choice for each of the five courses, though we will do our very best to sate vegetarians who will be joining us. If your group includes vegans or anyone with shellfish allergies, however, this menu will present challenges. Just full disclosure before you make reservations.
