For Saturday Wine Club Member Tasting the brouhaha continues. We will be offering a taste of four of the most popular wines thus far. However, with limited samples on hand, all wines will be available on a PRE-SALE basis ONLY. So, come on down to CV this Saturday from 1 P.M. – 4 P.M. and stake your claim on some excellent vino: (please remember two-person maximum per wine club membership, no guests).

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Withers “Peter’s Vineyard” Chardonnay 2016 (Sonoma Coast, CA)

Winery Tasting Notes:
“This Chablis inspired wine offers up beautiful citrus, tropical and wet stone flavors, highlighted by lemon essence and saline notes. The medium bodied frame is layered and textured, and buttressed by strong balancing acidity due to the partial M/L fermentation. Balanced and elegant, this wine is a perfect match for shellfish, crudo, seafood and fowl dishes. It is best served at or slightly above cellar temperature and can be enjoyed now or cellared for 5-10 years.”

“This Bandol-inspired Rosé is a beauty, offering up lovely and persistent citrus and stone fruits, highlighted by cherry, watermelon rind, nectarine and peach flavors. The wine is firmly buttressed by strong balancing acidity. The medium bodied frame is layered, textured, balanced and elegant, and the wine will drink well on release or age for 3-7 years. It is a perfect accompaniment to a wide variety of seafood, pasta and fowl and best served at or slightly above cellar temperature”
