These Wines Are BIG BABY, REAL BIG!!! So are the DISCOUNTS!

G’day and How ya goin’ from Carpe Vino!  We’ve just received our new releases from Mollydooker Wines, and they will be open to taste this Saturday only, April 5th, from 12-4pm for Wine Club Members.(Please remember two person maximum per wine club membership.)   As you know, once a month we feature a winery/winemaker, and this week, we are proud to feature some of the most acclaimed Shiraz from Australia.  These wines generally SELL OUT within a month of release and after the scores they received they most definitely will this year too!  Originally, Mollydooker Winemakers, Sarah & Sparky Marquis, set out to make the best bulk wine in the world, but that was not too be.  Instead the pair ended up making some of the most highly rated Australian Wines ever, by achieving top scores from Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator. Here is a real spectacular opportunity to taste some amazing wines, offered at extraordinary discounts.  Here is what we will be pouring:

Mollydooker “The Boxer” Shiraz 2012 (Australia)

images.110249$26.50/bottle or $23.85/bottle on six +

“Wine Advocate” Tasting Notes: 89 POINTS
“Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2012 The Boxer Shiraz opens with tons of intense chocolate, vanilla and spice intermingling with an aromatic core of ripe and berry preserves. Very big, full and rich, it is so concentrated you could practically stand a spoon up in the glass. The medium-level velvety tannins hold through the long, slightly hot, finish. Drink it now to 2017.”
“Wine Spectator” Tasting Notes: 89 POINTS
“Dark and spicy, with a peppery edge to the black olive-accented blackberry flavors, finishing with a touch of heat. Drink now through 2018.”

Jay’s Take:  “This crowd pleaser was named ‘The Boxer,’ because the very first person to taste it said, ‘It’s a knockout!’ This one packs a punch, and is a good bang for the buck wine.”
