TAITT

G’Day Mates!  Today’s Deal takes us to one of the premier wine regions in all of Australia, the Barossa Valley.  The 2012 Tait “Ball Buster” Shiraz is one of latest wines to arrive in our coveted stable and it packs a wallop!  Just as the name implies this baby will punch you right where it counts while still delivering an excellent value.  Winery priced at $20/bottle but purchase six bottles or more from CV today and pinch it for $14.95/bottle!
Tait Winery was founded by an Italian immigrant named Giovanni Tait and the Tait name has been involved in the wine industry for over a 100 years. With his son Bruno, Giovanni planted vineyards in the highly regarded Barossa Valley region on South Australia.  Barossa is the oldest and one of the most important regions of S.A.  It is known for being very hot and for having extremely old vines, which gives all the Tait wines their immense character and flavor.
The 2012 Tait “Ball Buster” Shiraz is part of a long lineage of acclaimed wines.  It is the only wine under $20/bottle that received scores of 90 points and above from Wine Advocate for the last 11 years.  Now, don’t let the name “Ball Buster” dissuade you.  Originally winemaker Bruno Tait wanted to name this wine “Michelle’s Block” – after his wife.  However, it aroused images that this wine is soft and elegant, which it’s not.
So, with a name like that it’s got to be good…right?  It sure is and then some!  With its DEEP DARK PURPLE hue and INTENSE aromas of BLACK-CURRENT, BLACK PLUMS, and BLACK CHERRIES, your senses go into overdrive.  RIPE flavors of RASPBERRY, BOYSENBERRY, and a hint of CHOCOLATE lead to an ELEGANT finish considering its BOLD characteristics.  The perfect pairing for this wine would be barbecue pork or a grilled pepper steak with blue cheese.
Here is the perfect opportunity to try what Australian Shiraz has to offer.  We brought in 60 bottles so all you have to do now is click the BUY “BALL BUSTER” NOW button and get yours today.
