With temps on the rise there is no better way to quench your thirst than with a nice, cold, refreshing sauvignon blanc.  Today’s offering is the 2014 Miner Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley.  We worked our magic again by securing another sweet deal so we can offer the remaining 60 BOTTLES in inventory at over 20% Off!!  Winery retail is $20/bottle but purchase six or more and score this palate pleaser for only $15.99/bottle on six +!  Won’t find that deal anywhere but CV!

Miner is a cool family-owned winery located in Oakville that offers an array of amazing wines.  Founded in 1998, Miner Family Winery produces reserve-style wines sourced from Napa Valley as well as other select California vineyards.  With winemaker Stacy Vogel at the helm, Miner uses a combination of old world winemaking techniques and modern technology to make elegant and expressive wines.

This 2014 Miner Sauvignon Blanc is ideal for those poolside activities, hot summer evenings on the patio, or just anytime you are craving something CRISP, FRESH, and DELIGHTFUL.  Fermented and aged in stainless steel, you are greeted with aromas of WHITE PEACH, NECTARINE, and hints of GOOSEBERRY.   Flavors of GUAVA and CITRUS cleanse your palate with just the right amount of acidity leaving you craving for more.  With its low to moderate alcohol level, it’s ideal for the hot summer months ahead.  Pair it with a nice sautéed petrale sole with shallots, capers, white wine-butter sauce, and you’re golden!

Winery Tasting Notes: “This crisp Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is fermented and aged in stainless steel. With aromas of stone fruit and freshly cut herbs followed by grapefruitmelon flavors on the palate, this wine is best enjoyed in its youth.”
