If you want to get a piece of the action on this sexy beast, the 2015 Gait Zinfandel, this is your shot!  Retail priced at $21.95/bottle but purchase six or more and score this beaut for $17.95/bottle!   The price of admission for this puppy is spot on, but understand that this gem is made by one of the premier up and coming winemakers in the Napa Valley, Trevor Sheehan.   We’ve been huge fans of Trevor’s wines from the begining.  Over the last 8 years, Trevor has been making wine in Napa Valley and has strong ties to many outstanding vineyard sources. We’ve ran with many of his wines for Carpe Vino’s wine clubbers like Xanthos, Precision, and 29&Oak for one simple fact:  They are flat-out LEGIT!!!

The 2015 Gait Zinfandel is unique because it is all sourced from vineyards in Calistoga that range from 20 years old to 115 years old.  There temperatures can reach 100˚F during the day and the cool breezes at night provide ideal conditions for the zinfandel grape to thrive.  The result = a WELL-BALANCED, FULL-BODIED zin that is useless to resist!!!   The 2015 Gait Zin displays a DEEP RUBY color and has BRIGHT aromatics of JUICY BLACKBERRIES.  EXUBERANT flavors of BLACK CHERRY and VANILLA CREAM coat your palate with just right touch of BAKING SPICE that seems to get better with every sip.  No need to pair this zin with anything, because by itself it’s one heck of a wine!!!  But…fire up the grill and the possibilities are endless with this knockout!

TEN cases are in stock and primed for the picking.  Click the BUY NOW button and we’ll have yours ready to be picked up/shipped ASAP!!!  Carpe Vino is the only purveyor  in CA for this fantastic wine, and at this discount it is a win-win for all!!!

Winery Tasting Notes:  “Charming red color with aromas of black cherry and blueberry marmalade. The wine opens with a touch of sichuan pepper, blackberries and a coy touch of smoke. The mouth feel is rich and velvety, featuring concentrated flavors of ripe forest fruits. The finish offers well integrated tannins and chocolate-cherry cordials. Sampled over the course of an entire evening, the wine kept getting better and more expressive.”
