91 Points WINE SPECTATOR!

– Issue May 31, 2019 –

HOT OF THE PRESS!  Well, maybe not off the printed press, but at least the DIGITAL one.  On Friday, we received our first allotment, FIVE cases of the WINE SPECTATOR 91 POINT RATED — 2015 SMITH & HOOK “PROPRIETARY” RED WINE.  This massive red blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petite Sirah was all sourced from the Central Coast’s premier growing regions including; Arroyo Seco, San Antonio Valley, Santa Lucia Highlands and Paso Robles.  To top it off this wine is aged in French Oak for no less than TWO YEARS!

This blend has opulent aromas of black currant, plums and blueberry pie, accompanied by hints of tobacco and leather. The refined yet robust palate is multi-dimensional showcasing flavors of dark berries and vanilla complemented by velveteen gripping tannins, a savory, richly dense mouthfeel and lingering finish.  Seriously, this wine is a HOME RUN.

If you are a fan of Smith & Hook Cabernet (which many of you are since we have sold nearly 200 cases in the past 18 months) you better snag this baby up right away!  Generously priced at $25/bottle, WE HAVE A DEAL OF $19.95/BOTTLE when you purchase 6+ bottles.  As far as we are concerned, Smith & Hook, or any wine coming from the Hahn Family of Wines are extraordinary values which will please the discerning palate of pretty much anyone.  So do  yourself a favor and grab a 6pk today!
