We’re Now Serving Dinner on Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!

Sunday is no longer a day of rest at Carpe Vino. . .because starting last week with Mother’s Day, the restaurant is now open six nights, Tuesday through Sunday.   The shop opens at noon for wine sales and then dinner is served from 5 to 9 p.m.   We’re starting with the regular menu, but soon we’ll be introducing some “Sunday-only” specials.

“Being open six nights per week is something we’ve been working towards for a long time,” said Carpe Vino Co-owner Drew Moffat.  “Now that we have made improvements in the kitchen and storage facilities as well as ramping up staff, we’ve got the horsepower to handle an additional evening.”

For its first six years of operation, the restaurant was open just four nights per week until service on Tuesday evenings was added in 2012.  With the economy rebounding combined with the closure of the popular Latitudes restaurant in Old Town earlier this year, there is an obvious appeal to extending hours once again.

With the addition of Sunday to the Carpe Vino dining schedule, we’ll also have an extra night to serve our prix-fixe dinners.  So now you don’t have to miss out on any of the great dining opportunities at Carpe Vino.
