Wine Club Membership Finally Passes 900

How about these statistics:  Carpe Vino just passed 1,300 “likes” on Facebook, and at nearly the same time, we signed up our 900th Wine Club member.  As of this date, we have 913 members, and we’re hoping to hit the magical 1,000 milestone by Christmas.

Despite economic slowdowns, government shutdowns and fiscal cliffs, membership has risen steadily over the past two years…though it slowed a bit in recent months.  If historical precedents hold, however, we’ll have a very nice surge of new memberships in November and December.  That’s when people start purchasing gift memberships; plus we can expect a bump from people who realize they must be members to attend our Holiday gala.
