Zin-savvy wine club members are no doubt familiar with the Martinelli brand.  We’ve carried their fabulously juicy (and pricey) zinfandels since forever.  Here’s another concentrated entry, an immensely flavorful syrah.

This wine was produced with the oversight of legendary Helen Turley, and less than 500 cases were made.  This being a seven-year old vintage, we were fortunate to get our hands on enough to fill wine club requirements.  Enjoy this one, folks, because soon it will be gone forever!

Winery Tasting Notes:  Offers aromas of floral incense and wild game and flavors of blueberry, violets, cassis and dark rich plum backed by earthy tannins and tobacco.
