Fun Facts: Domaine Eugène Carrel is located in the village of Jongieux,  in the northern part of the Savoie region, at the beginning of the French Alps. Winemaker Olivier Carrel represents the third generation at the estate. They cultivate all of the traditional varieties of the region, namely Jacquere (sold as Vin de Savoie Jongieux Blanc), Altesse, Gamay and the unique red Mondeuse. Domaine Carrel’s clients include virtually every local restaurant from bistros to top Savoie gastronomic destinations.
