Fun Facts: It was in 1802 that Charles Gonet created the house of Champagne GONET ,  for which seven generations of winemakers of this illustrious family will grow and prosper. In 1973, Michel Gonet, whose Champagnes bear the name today, modernizes and enlarges cellars with the sole objective of further improving the quality. The terroir is composed exclusively of chalk. The white coast enjoys a very exceptional climate: protected from the cold winds of the North by a providential hill, the slopes exposed to the South are spared by the rains that fall in the valley. These ideal climatic conditions associated with this exceptional terroir allow the Gonet vineyard to be classified Grand Cru, the highest Champagne distinction.
