We’re kicking off WEEK SEVEN of our “to-go” dining series with a FLAVORFUL AND FESTIVE CARPE VINO TAKE ON “CINCO DE MAYO” with a special “to-go” prix-fixe menu built for two people!  This FOUR-COURSE meal will incorporate the talents of our entire kitchen staff led by Chef Tim Dube and Pitmaster Spencer Smith.  We’re offering our interpretation of delicious, traditional inspired fare, with a Carpe Vino twist.  This is one menu we are all looking forward to tasting, as members of the team have been here since 3am this morning preparing for our orders tomorrow! ORDER NOW BY CLICKING HERE!

Here is our “Cinco De Mayo” menu for two:

Alaskan Halibut & Rock Shrimp Ceviche | red onion, cilantro, lime, jalapeño

Lamb Barbacoa Tacos | achiote, lime slaw, chipotle crema (4 tacos)

Smoked Beef Cheek Mole | hominy grits, black beans, picked onion, cotija cheese, toasted sliced almonds

Cost is $65/meal w/ tax included in price.  PLENTY for two people and limited to only 50 meals which can be pre-ordered STARTING NOW!  This will be the only dining option available for Tuesday night and substitutions are politely declined.

Madre Mezcal (Mexico) 200ML Flask ($22.52 OTD)

Tasting Notes: “Madre Mezcal is distilled from the Espadin and Cuishe (Karwinskii) agave varieties. The agaves are roasted in an earthen pit and fermented with local well-water and wild yeast found in the mountain air. Distillation is done in the family’s aged copper still. Madre has a hint of smoke, with a sweet fragrance. Herbal notes of sage, earth, and minerals appear on the tongue, with a lingering floral finish.

Made by hand in the hills of San Dionisio, Oaxaca by Jose Ines Garcia Morales and Family.”

CVW&S – HANDS DOWN an excellent value and a nice “beginner’s” Mezcal as its not overly smoky.  Espadin is one of the most widely cultivated agaves used in Mezcal, while Cuishe tends to be a little more rare to find.  This blend is absolutely a steal for $21/flask!  Pairs well with Provençal-style Rose too!

Fortaleza Tequila Blanco (Mexico) 750ML ($55.77 OTD)

Tasting Notes: “Using only traditional methods at every step, production is small but ultimately controlled. Blanco has bright vanilla, almost cream soda notes, complementing pepper, sweet agave, citrus, and minerals.”

CVW&S – This is a can’t miss premium Tequila that should be on everyone’s backbar.  We also carry their Anejo which is also one of our favorites in the spirits shop.  Honestly, dollar-for-dollar this is one of the best values on the market.

• Select your preferred pick-up time between 4PM-7PM.

• All orders must be placed online 45mins before arrival.  Online orders will be accepted until 6:15pm with final pick-up at 7pm.

• All orders must be pre-paid and processed successfully before prepared.

• If you graciously decide to add a “gratuity” please know it will be dispersed amongst all of our furloughed staff members.

Just before everything changed in our day-to-day lives, we were just about to release TWO new tasting flights revolving around WHISKEY here at Carpe Vino!  Simply put, “always be tasting” is our motto and a necessity when introducing new products to our clients.  SO…starting today, and while supplies last, we are going to be offering TWO different WHISKEY flights “TO-GO” …with the caveat that you MUST PURCHASE FOOD “TO-GO” as well!

FLIGHT 1 – W.L. WELLER (2oz Each) – $55/flight
Special Reserve, Antique 107, 12 Year

Hands down “Weller” is one of our most sought after whiskey brands currently at Carpe Vino & CV Wine & Spirits.  Highly allocated is an understatement, as these Bourbons are damn well near impossible to find and if you do find them…expect to be paying anywhere from $85-$350/bottle depending on the label.  This is an outstanding opportunity to taste all THREE of these WHEATED BOURBONS, SIDE-BY-SIDE-BY-SIDE, at a very, VERY REASONABLE PRICE.  We will be offering 12 of these flights a day for purchase.  Also, our supply is limited, so I don’t know if we will make the weekend!

FLIGHT 2 – “Exploring Mash Bills” (2oz Each) – $35/flight
W.L. Weller Special Reserve, Eagle Rare 10 Yr, Sazerac 6-Year Rye

This is a great flight to try THREE different Whiskey with mash bills all focusing around different dominant grains.  Weller is dominated by wheat (50+%) Sazerac dominated by Rye (50+%) and Eagle Rare, a 10yr aged Bourbon that is a more traditional Bourbon with less that 10% Rye used.  Definitely a great way to try three different WHISKEYS all side-by-side-by-side!
